Here we present data and analysis of the health system in Abu Dhabi, including our Capacity Masterplan and quality indicators. We define all the terms we use in dictionary whether it is codes or license. The key standards the govern how healthcare information is used in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi is available, as well as terms of reference and minutes of various governance mechanisms to ensure continuous improvement. Finally, we have technical specifications for those wishing to implement these solutions, inlcuding open source tools to perform your own analysis.

Clinical quality indicators

site For the first time, in the 2010 Health Statistics HAAD published data showing performance of the Abu Dhabi healthcare sector against a series of Diabetes and other Clinical indicators. Based on international indicators and data collected during the routine eClaim process, this information gives insight into whether patients are receiving appropriate care, and if healthcare facilities and clinicians are adhering to local clinical guidelines.


HAAD releases open source analytics

siteHAAD has now made available the source code we use to analyse eClaim data to create the health statistics, capacity masterplan and other data analysis. The power of this analysis is available to anyone to apply to their own data subject to signing HAAD's free license agreement. The Cube has more than 1000 dimensions and over 100 measures, including all the metrics developed by the Clinical Quality Panel.
